I guess what happened to Loai our friend was shocking . Loai is a 20 years old Computer Science student and also a famous blogger and tweep

Loai was detained on the background of the events that took place in Tahrir during the 28th and 29th of June. Loai was reporting what happened infront of the ministry of interior and then he headed to tahrir while the central security forces were using gas bombs and rubber bullets against protesters , Witnesses claim too last see L at 7 pm in Tahrir.

and then through his brother's twitter account we were able to know that Loai was detained , transferred to the military prosecution and sentenced for 15 days in the military prison before facing a military trial .

Loai's brother was unable to get a permission in order to give medications to his brother until strong pressures were implemented by activists through virtual worlds (twitter, facebook and blogs) and finally after Reem Maged's phone call with his brother

The reason why I write this blogpost and I have the intention of writing it as a facebook note is to draw your attention to the issue of civilians facing military trials .. knowing that Loai is not the only case , Loai was detained with other40

and those were not only the same , "revolutionaries" like Amr Elbeheery was sentenced five years and accused of being a thug
